ASIG Honored with LAN Chile’s First Safety Ground Handling Award

Orlando … ASIG®, an industry leader in aviation services, announced today that its Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) ground handling operation is the recipient of LAN’s Safety Ground Handling Award.  Recognized at LAN’s first Ground Handling Awards ceremony, ASIG was chosen for the hard work and dedication to safety that is displayed on a daily basis.  During the ceremony, LAN acknowledged the role of handlers as strategic partners within their system, which has over 750 destinations.  Shortlisted candidates were invited to the event and award criteria centered on service, safety and commitment.  ASIG provides ground handling services to LAN Chile and LAN Peru at (LAX).  ASIG’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) operations were one of four ground handling locations also shortlisted for this same award.
